We
retired from our jobs in Minneapolis, MN.
Dorothy managed a deli in a supermarket.
Paul had been 41 years with the Union Pacific Railroad.
Dorothy
dreamed of someday opening a Bed & Breakfast and
surprisingly that came true after purchasing an 1892 home in her
hometown of Menahga. After
2½ years of extensive remodeling, we brought it back to its
original Victorian era.
We
enjoy meeting new people and love sharing our home with our
guests. We want
them to feel pampered and to feel right at home.
Stop
over also to see our gift shop -- Rose
Petal -- just call us for hours.
BrenMarRose
is named after our grandchildren:
Bren – Brendan, Mar – Mara. The parlor is named after our granddaughter, Lucy
JoLee.
Our
rooms are named after our daughter Corinne and niece
Anne; Aina
Maria, Paul’s mother; and, Eva Elizabeth, Dorothy’s
mother. |
